school, dudes, chicks, and annoying little brats.

Hello Everyone,

so guess what? schools back. way to soon! and you know what? I'm stressed. maybe I stress too much, maybe I don't. it means that I have to go back to a place where girls are judgemental, boys are players, and teachers are rude. I  must admit, I quite like learning and the overall image of learning, but I just dread the place. one of my goals for 2016 was to do well in school and enjoy it. I'm starting to think that that won't happen. the girls at my school are so judgemental and cliché. the boys are players and attempt to hit on you even when you walk past. say, you go home, open up your snapchat and start talking to this mysterious boy that you think is kinda cute. next thing you know, he is being lovely, complementing on your body shape, your 'womanly curves'. so you begin to think that you may have a chance with this little cutie. but you know what... this wish is almost never granted, when you are at school, he wont say a word to you, but once or twice you'll catch him looking at your bum. im sorry to break it to you, hon, but it is the cold, hard truth. It is oh so disappointing when you realise your crush is nothing but a boy with a bad boy attitude. this sucks. I know, girl. (or boy hehe). sorry, I got a tad bit sidetracked. but anyway, I dread school, high school. so I am going to attempt to give you some tips on life at school.

1. Make friends. Yes, I know, this means talking to people. Scary, right? Pick a few people you think look nice. BEWARE some girls may be very rude about letting you into their group. If you are lucky enough to have a friend in your class, remember to still try and expand your friendship groups. I totally believe in the saying 'fewer and closer friends provide better company, than a large group of not-so-friendly 'friends''. (not going to lie, I kind of made that saying up). but, I think it is lovely to have a good group of friends that you can go to!

2. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! this is the most horrendous set of words to ever be said! I don't particularly enjoy homework, heck, I don't think many people do! but if you are able to do the homework the night you get it, not the night before, it will help greatly with organisation.

3. Have a planner. I bought myself one for about twelve dollars from Target I believe. it has a weekly spread which is handy so you have a way to see what is planned for the rest of the week. I find it super handy to take this with me to list any homework, assignments and important dates! I have mine in almost every single class.

4. Read your textbooks ahead of time. This seems absolutely pointless, annoying and totally time consuming! But I promise that it will help! You will go into school already knowing majority of the answers. Sure, you may feel like a nerd, but it will truly help!

5. Watch out for the bad boys. Try not to get to attached to these hunky men! I find trying to avoid them over social media helps heaps! they will be oh so kind to you, just trying to get things that are NOT going to happen. if you find yourself head over heels with this guy, try talking to him. suss him out and see if the act he puts on is truly who he is. he may do this to fit in to his group of friends! best of luck with these type of people :)

I hope you enjoyed these few little tips! I know they are a little bit crazy, a little difficult to follow, but I believe that if you follow these five little rules, it will help you a lot with highschool this year! I apoligise for the bad punctuation - as in no capitals. I am on my laptop and  I am to lazy to edit all the capitals in! I think I might add a bonus blog post on Saturday or Sunday, so watch out for it!!

best of luck,

Kendra xx
